We believe talented artists should have a platform to showcase their work, earn from their creativity, and have their voices valued.

Founder and CEO
I've always loved the patterns in henna, and the rich, careful embroidery passed down in my family. Designs by Sloka is my way of bringing those two worlds together. Every piece is drawn from that heritage and stitched by hand, slowly, by me. No machines, no rushing. Just two traditions I grew up with, sewn into something you can pull on and love.
Each hoodie blends the flowing lines of henna with the depth of traditional hand embroidery worked entirely by hand, so no two pieces are ever quite the same. The collection stays small on purpose, because every piece takes real time and care.
Meet Afiya
Afiya is a 23-year old seamstress and designer who creates beautiful Indian clothing, including handmade blouses and traditional garments. Through her sewing, she combines creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural tradition to create pieces that are uniquely her own. We’re proud to showcase Afiya’s work and help give her talent a platform where her designs can be seen, valued, and fairly compensated.
